Ana Cruz

Hello, my name is Ana Cruz. I arrived in Mozambique in 1999, working for Diageo, a British multinational alcoholic beverage company, where I was seconded from its' London headquarters as an expatriate in Human Resources Management. Since then, I have lived and worked in various provinces of Mozambique in diverse roles. I hold dual Nationality, Mozambican & British, and am fluent in both languages. Most recently, I spent almost seven years at Triton Mineral, where I served as the Regional Operations Manager, reporting to the CEO and COO based in Perth, Australia. I am well-acquainted with the unique challenges of conducting business in remote northern Mozambique and possess a deep understanding of the daily operational difficulties faced in our Province. I hold an MSC in Human Resources Management & Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE). With over 30 years of extensive experience in management, commercial operations, logistics, procurement & human resources, I have worked with major organizations in the UK and Mozambique. Given my managerial, logistical, corporate social responsibility (CSR), local content regulations, and HRM experience, I have co-founded The Pemba Concierge, Lda with my business partner, Katy, to offer my extensive knowledge to new & existing companies based in Pemba and Northern Mozambique. My holistic management expertise and hands-on experience, specifically in this region, would be an asset to your organization in setting up operations or projects in Northern Mozambique and assisting with their growth. Hello, my name is Katy Cooke. Nine years ago, I embarked on a life-changing journey from London, England to Mozambique, where my passion for community service transformed into a thriving business. Drawing from my extensive background with the Metropolitan Police in Brixton, I initially sought to recharge my batteries through volunteering. Supporting Sir Ian Botham's charity walk across South Africa as an operations manager, which opened doors to helping a small independent orphanage in rural Katembe, Southern Mozambique. What started as a temporary placement turned into a lifelong commitment to this beautiful country. After spending 2.5 years at the orphanage, my dedication to Mozambique continued to grow. I now live and work across the country, providing premium relocation and real estate services. Through strategic partnerships and a deep understanding of the local landscape, I ensure that new residents seamlessly integrate into their new lives here. My mission is "Making it easy to live and work in Mozambique", this reflects my dedication to helping others fall in love with this country, just as I have. I have partnered with Ana on this endeavor as whilst I bring the passion to this project, she brings the stability and resilience. We are an excellent team, with extensive knowledge of Mozambique and complementary skills that we will use to ensure that your move here is as stress-free as possible. We know that this is not always the easiest landscape to live, work, and support a family, but despite that, we have managed to navigate these challenges and are the biggest fans of this country.
